Welcome to the Forum, Big lip will. thanks for putting in your location. I can't answer your question though, because I don't know where you are fishing on that river. Are you fishing in salt, brackish or freshwater?

Bread balls and a cast net tells the story what the fish are eating. Sometimes ghost shrimp up in the estuaries. Finger mullet and manhaden in the canals. Whatever is running at the moment.
