My wife told me happy Veterans Day first thing in the morning. I didn’t hear it one time all day and there was not one single place that mentioned anything about it where ever I went yesterday. Sad. I can remember when Veteran’s Day was a well recognized day and people would make it well known what the day was all about. Now not many people could even give a rip about those who have served and died so they could have life easy. It sure is too bad they’ve taken history out of schools and replaced it with division and hate lessons.

That’s some good parenting right there. We have 16 grandkids and didn’t hear a word out of any of em. Most of them are not even respectful to their parents because the school system and society is teaching them they don’t have to be. That’s awesome they did that for you. Shows there’s still some good things coming up the pipe.

Dbed: Well, grandad, I think a proper response is to offer to take those thoughtful grandkids on a fishing trip of some type. I believe they've earned it. Just Sayin...RJS
