My wife says I have more fishing rods and tackle than Wal-Mart. She also says if I get more she will divorce me. I'll sure miss her when that happens.

I have around 88 rods. I do a lot of different kinds of fishing like GLA indicated. I can't seem to figure out how to send pictures on this site.....
The secret, Rj, is to use the regular reply button, not the quick reply. Then down below the send button on the bottom left, there's a Choose File button. Click that, select your pic, then click the Add Attachment button to the right. Rinse and repeat.
More than anyone has so far said, but of course I make them, so when i think I need a particular rod to do something special, I just make it, I am lucky that way. I have always felt you can never have too many.
Thanks, but I do all that and go to preview and nothing is there....
14 BAIT CASTING ROD AND REELS, 4 SPINNING RODS AND REELS AND 6 ADDITIONAL BAIT CASTIN REELS WHICH 4 NEED REPAIR AND 2 TOTALLY DEAD.
7 baitcaster and 7 spinning and 1spincaster.
6 baitcast and 8 spinning!!And I'm a casual fisherman!!
I have about thirty rods and reels. All my saltwater stuff is bait casters from 15 to 100 pound test line and for freshwater I have both spinning and bait casting usually in ten pound test, as well as a fly rod.
I have so many trout rods I don't think I can even count them. wife rods, daughter rods, guest rods, big river rods, small river rods, bank fishing rods, boat fishing rods. A lot of them I picked up at clearence sales. But for myself I like Fenwick and Berkley rods the best. Shimano use to make some rods that i thought were great rods, and I think that the Shimano Spirex Reels are the best to use on the rivers. I like to buy them on ebay to get the older ones because I think they are built stronger.
Somewhere north of a hundred at least. This is in part because I have 3 generations worth of fishing tackle. I also collect a lot of reels and then I also never met a fishing rod and reel that I didn't want.
You're right you can never have to many, unless you ask my wife! And mine is a relatively new collection, only1 combo over 1yr old!
Never miss a good sale/clearance!Good rod and reels never go out of style!!They are just tools for the fisherman, and a good fisherman can catch fish on a handline and McDonalds cup!Grew up on the Appamattox/James River Chesapeak Bay area of Virginia, where all we did was make sure you had a crab basket handy, and you could get a pack of old chicken necks or gizzards, leave them out a bit, tie them in the crab basket, and on 30 minutes you had dinner, or lunch or breakfast. The first small crab were cut up for bait for any thing else in that brackish river water!Never knew what you had until you reeled it in!!Channel cats, Blue fish, flounder, speckled trout, sea bass, spots crooker(grunts)everything ate crab,And if you didnt catch any thing, you always had basket of crab!!
