Well, fishermen: You should now experience less pressure where ever you are fishing since all the deer hunters will soon be gone. The archery hunters are already gone to the woods. That is unless they are huntring with a bow from a canoe! Just Sayin...RJS

I have quit deer hunting. Not able to do the climbing and walking so much, so I just feed them every day. Corn, oats and apples. Get good pictures of two nice bucks in velvet now and two does with two small fawns. Several coons and lots of birds and squrilles too. I see at least one or two deer every day on the lane to my place. I stop the truck and watch.

Well, Dude, you have now made them pets, and likely even named them. You are not likely to eat your pets....Sorry. Otherwise, having them so close, less that 30 steps, you could harvest one or more with a bow, or crossbow. Makes excellent steaks and sausage...Just Sayin...RJS

Yea, you are right there my man. I could do that. I just gave my son-in-law my crossbow the other day. I bought some quail in the grocery store and am going to try it out. It cannot be a good as the quail I used to catch in Stonewall County Texas back in the 1960’s with slat traps. We always let a few go so we could have more later. Just like frogs. Never catch them all. It was fun catching bullfrogs at night. I mean catching, not gig-in them. Catching at night was more fun. Times have changed over the years. Kids today don’t have the same fun we had back in the fifty’s and sixty’s. I could go on and on but you guys know what I mean.

You know, We really don't know just how old we will be in Heaven! Do you suppose we might be back at a much younger age, like 9 or 10, and all the delight of exploring things, being innocent, and living a good life? Just Sayin...RJS

Our deer season doesn't start 'til the first week or so of every November and ends usually by the middle of January...maybe longer for bow-hunters.
