What kinda reel is this. Has it been around awhile. Have you ever used one. Unscramble this and a lot of people like them for fishing. SPRPEOP.

Thats a spincaster isn't it, I've never used one but what happens when the line gets tangled inside the spool

You can unscrew the front cover. It happens. I never thought much of them.

Makes a mess my 303 is tangled can't fix it

Never had one get tangled. Got a bow and arrow with one on it for shooting fish. Works great

always wanted to try that, still have my bow but haven't hunted in many years

This was a real easy one Mike. Especially the Zebco 202. The old Zebcos were handy to use and cheap. Believe it or not, I landed a 9.5 pound flounder on one off my Granddad's boat. I thought I had a bushel of grass on the line.

The Zebco closed face reel is probably the easiest reel to use. Many kids start with this type of reel. It has been around for probably 50 years. They do have a tendency to tangle inside the cover.

Zebco 202 my first real like everyone says most kids start off with them got a 4lb bass with mine when I was about 11

Me too. They work, but a big fish can be a real challenge. Too much line can be a big problem and cause it to malfunction, but a great way to learn troubleshooting for a kid.

Nice...I'm building this little cat hull for bowfishing and gigging. Theres guys down around Johns pass that bow legal grouper around docks. I want to get in on that.
