According to my browser, the Burbot and Bowfin are different fish,but similair in shape. Jusr Sayin...RJS

What is it Egghead? Eggs family usually wins the ‘Burbot Bash’ at Flaming Gorge Reservoir. Like Sockeye and Kokanee you have Ling Cod and Burbot.
I believe that is a cusk, cold water, below the thermocline.
