Hi, my name is Jeff and I'm trying to plan a trip in Texas for my wife and myself before the end of summer. I'm looking at Hubbard Creek reservoir because it's not too far and appears to be good for camping and bank fishing. If anyone knows anything about this lake, I'd love to read what you know.
Thanks!
Jeff

Welcome to FS, GS13. Enjoy your stay with us.

In general, the fishing in that area of Texas has a good reputation.

If you mean Lake Ray Hubbard you will be close to Lake Fork which is famous for big bass.

Lake Palestine and Lake Tawokoni also in that area, all within 2 hours or less from Dallas.
