As has always been the case, watch out for the Squids on FS. They're still fuming over their wannabee desires to have been Marines. They remain unscrupulous and conniving in besmirching our proud Corps.

You have hit a sore point there. I love the comics in the news paper, but the Houston Chronicle is so warped toward liberalism and democratric candidates, I would cancel our subscription, but my wife won't let me. I do love the comics and read the paper is a set way every day! Just Sayin...RJS

I think you miss the point the articles in the paper are are the comics these days...I think. They sure aren't honest representations of truth so I figure they are just satirical fiction meant to be humorous although mostly I think they are just bad jokes either way can't take them serious so you might as well laugh at them which is better than crying.

Never forget that the wannabe's are Marines who didn't think they had the balls to make it as a Navy SEAL. Gotta be a sailor before you can be a SEAL. Nothing but the BEST is even considered. OOORAH!

Navy seals? Would that be a group trying to work their way up to being a RECON MARINE?

With all due respect to the SEALS, the Marines are also in the Naval Department. Quite a few Marines make it into the NAVY SEALS. The SEALS are an elite unit, not an entire branch.

OOOH RAHHH!!!

Indeed, the RECON MARINES are their own elite unit...but, not the entire Marine Corps. All elite units undergo continual & extensive training to maintain their eliteness. As a nation, we should proud of 'em all

I've read a few Sears catalogue pages myself in a number of outhouses, but as a youth.
