Green for clear, black and blue for dirty, only two colors you really need imo

I have the worst luck of any fisherman I know but I’m also the most persistent! A watermelon lizard works more than anything I’ve tried, and I’ve tried it all !
watermelon/ pumpkin trick worm, work better for me
Watermelon Zoom? Lizard in clear water, say strip pits too? 10 lb test?
In the strip pits which are glass clear 90% of the time i have steady action on a Strike King chartreuse and white, double willow bladed spinnerbait, dont even need a trailer. My kid discovered it, caught 30 bass in one afternoon including a 7 pounder - and that's an Ohio 7 pounder, not Florida or Texas. My best last year was a 6 on a baby bass glide bait. Second best was a 5 on the chartreuse spinner.
I'll try the lizard.
I just realized you guys are way up there. Im down on the Texas gulf Coast ,just S of Houston. But I prefer fresh water
anybody else here in Texas?
