The CDC says 171,000 and most from other underlying causes. That’s fewer than die every year from a common flu virus. Of those “covid19 related” deaths they have no solid number as to the cause of death. Wake up you say? To what. I’m not denying there’s a virus and a it’s not friendly. I’m arguing the statistics. I, personally, know two people who have passed who were labeled covid19 deaths. One was a brain aneurysm and the other was a massive heart attack. The heart attack victim was in his late 80s and the other was an older gal. Neither was tested for covid19 nor did they display any of the symptoms they describe. I’m one person in over 300,000,000 and I have personal proof of two folks on the covid19 death list that DIDNT die from covid19. What the CDC does not tell you is that nearly 10,000 of those covid19 related deaths are suicides from people losing their lifestyle as they knew it. A mask won’t fix that. A mask won’t cure heart failure and a mask won’t stop a brain aneurysm. My brother in laws girlfriend just passed away this morning from complications due to lung cancer. Yup. Listed as “covid19 related” death. A mask would not have fixed that. So that’s three for me. How many do you know of. The part I dislike the most is people are dying alone of various conditions. Family can’t be with loved ones as they pass. Nobody knows what’s going on in those hospital beds and nobody will say. Our elderly are being forced to die alone in a cold uncomfortable setting without family and friends by their side. All in the name of covid19. Nobody, including yourself has any idea what covid19 even is at this point but we’re all just allowing people to tell us what to do and let our loved ones pass without an explanation of why? “Oh they just died of covid19” I’m not real big on that. Sorry. I won’t be letting my family wither away and die of covid19 because someone says they’re going to. They’ll have to drop me in my tracks before I just stand back and watch my family die. I don’t have it in me and I just wasn’t raised to do that.

I hope all kayak users wear fluorescent vests or a bike flag to make them more visible on lakes. The darker colored kayaks are extremely hard to see on the water. Memorial Day had heavy boat traffic and with the rollers from their wake made the kayaks invisible at times.
