Are you allowed to fish in California now?

I have relatives that have fished the whole time. If you mean CV? Fish hunter you haven't seen some of the other guys in Ca posting about their fishing trips?

We've never not been able to fish. Some private lakes and state parks were closed for a while. Other than that, go for it.

Oh sorry. From everything I heard from down there people were supposed to be staying home. We didn’t have that here in Idaho except for one small town. McCall Idaho which is primarily Portland Oregon and Seattle Washington rich folks with get away homes. I always wondered why people have “get away homes”. Must not like where they live. I just wish they wouldn’t bring their problems to their get away places but I have lots of mountains and other places to go to avoid them👍

I have a cool get away out where you know about. Its a place to get away from normal everyday life. I'm confused CH. So the only place in Idaho that were supposed to stay home was in McCall. We were in Lava a month and a half ago and it was hopping for sure. We also have a friend that wife works with that her whole family contracted CV19 while in Idaho. I see both sides. There is things that everyone can do to slow it down. Then there is people protesting the things that can slow it down. The masks are to hopefully help others from getting it if you have it unknowingly. I think anyone that refuses to wear them is a selfish person.

I’m not sure where Lava Idaho is. I’ve only been here two years. McCall is the only place I know of writing citations for not wearing a mask. All other places I’ve been suggest it but don’t write you a $1000.00 ticket for not wearing one. I have no problems with people wearing a mask or anything else they CHOSE to wear. Even nothing at all. It kinda goes along with being a free country. When there’s no solid proof anyone has even had this new virus and people are being ordered to do things against their will, by government, that’s tyranny to me. You are, totally, entitled to your opinion just like the rest of us. My opinion is those who do what the government tells them are simple followers and don’t mind being controlled by communist or socialist rule. Myself? I’m not one to be easily controlled. Wearing a mask is beneficial for people who are sick so as to not give their sickness to another. Forcing people to wear one when they don’t have medical issue is a little too much control for me. I just don’t go where they require them. Pretty simple but I don’t tell people they shouldn’t wear a mask. Just like they shouldn’t be telling me I should. I don’t own a mask, I’m not gonna wear one and I’m not posing a threat to anyone. Call me selfish if you like but that’s just your opinion. You’re entitled to that.
I’d be willing to bet you can’t show me one factual incident where someone has died from covid19. Nobody else has been able to. Mainstream media is one thing. Facts are a different thing. Oh I’ve heard of lots of “covid19 related deaths” but I know for fact that two of them, I know personally, were NOT covid19 related. One was a brain aneurism and the other was a massive heart attack. Both labeled “covid19 related deaths”. Neither had any symptoms of a virus of any kind. You can do the math as well as I can. It’s whether you chose to or not.

I just looked up Lava. It’s Pocatello. That’s a long ways from where I’m at so things are good most places here it sounds like. Lewiston Idaho and Clarkston Washington are separated by the Snake River. You can throw a rock from one and hit the other. Things are out of control in Clarkston because of Washington control. Right across the river it’s a different world in Idaho and there’s nobody sick in either place. I spend the entire summer down there.
Have you, actually, done any research on what this virus even is or do you just go by what is told in the media and comply with government rule?

I choose to believe in science not a tyrant. To think there is no proof is your opinion. I have done some research on it yes. Actually last night I did. People have a health problem that they may of lived for decades forward from now with but when this thing gets in them it causes way more problems. It compounds their problem. It causes a gel type mucous in their lungs and basically suffocates them...causes other heart damage. Have you ever heard of denial? I haven't seen you on here much but its good to see your alive and well. I wear mask when needed not to conform with a Government rule but to hopefully reduce odds of carrying a germ that could kill someone at more risk. Masks have been worn by Medical Professionals forever as a safety device for same purpose ( prevent contaminating someone else ). I trust their wisdom and opinions much more than the folks saying this is planned or fake. Doctors know what they are talking about. Scientists know what they are talking about. Fisherman with time and research also know what they are talking about. I trust people that are in the field. I have relatives that work in the Medical field. They have seen this thing first hand they also have had to stay away form the rest of us at times. They had all proper gear ( one thing is a mask ) on and were exposed. You think they could tell a DR or scientist that this is all fake?

Lava is in hills about 1\2 hour from Poc. But its LAVA Hot Springs. We were surprised it was as busy as it was. Montana had Mask must be worn in all Public Places. Some can carry it and not have any symptoms. That is why masks can slow it down.

I just spent two days in Montana visiting my daughter in Kalispell. It’s city by city in Montana just like everywhere else. Kalispell did not require masks be worn anywhere, Missoula requires them EVERYWHERE. The media and scientist will tell you some carry the virus without symptoms. Many of those people have never been tested for the virus so my question is, how do they know? 🤔 How do they test for a virus they know nothing about? Why are there so many false negative tests? Too many what ifs. I’ve never hung around sick people before and I don’t go around people when I’m sick.

I have to definitely agree with Jeremy on this one. ANYONE who thinks that Covid is fake or has not been the cause of any deaths has got to either be blind, deaf, ignorant, or just plain stupid.( Or all four ) I’m sorry but I cannot believe that anyone on this forum could possibly believe they know more than the best, smartest doctors in the country/world.
My wife works in the health field and we have had close friends struck down by this virus. That alone is enough to make me a believer. There may be a lot of hype, but the facts are facts, not opinions. To each his own, I guess.
Some people care more about their ego and opinion than the do about the welfare of their fellowman. I feel sorry for you...

No. There’s is no proof.
What you describe is nothing more than complicated pneumonia. That’s been around since the beginning of time.
Yes I’ve heard of denial. I’m not denying anything. Just choosing not to fall for mainstream media scare tactics. I don’t rely on news as a life saving source. I’m more inclined to lean on common sense. I have no idea who these, so called, scientist are any more than you do. It’s just hard for me to look at the internet and believe everything that’s being said on there.
Yeah I don’t spend a whole lot of time on here any more. It’s gotten a little too dramatic for me. Kinda like everything else any more. Plus I fish all summer so that’s a nice break For me from May through September. It got pretty hot down on the river so I came home to start building our house. I’ll go back in a week or so and finish up the season. It’s so nice to just get away from people and make a decent income fishing. It’s been really slow this year and things are all screwed up everywhere but I enjoy it on the river anyway.

Well I’m still alive and healthy doing what I do. I guess my opinion is different than yours. I, too, know people in the medical field who tell the opposite story you tell. Who do we believe?🤷‍♂️. I guess you believe the people you talk to and I’ll believe those I talk to but I won’t call you stupid, ignorant or blind. That too, my friend, is just an opinion and my opinion of humans is much higher than yours.
