Them and ticks make life dangerous sometimes. Like the man said deet, everyone. Permatrin on your clothes will keep ticks off and dries odorless in an hour.
We do have a God, and that's precisely why we have these "little Buggers." Everything has their place in nature in order to keep things in balance. Of course, this is only my own personal perception.
I like the way you think Flytier. BTW did anybody know that the MOSQUITOS is considered the most dangerous creature on earth? More people die from mosquito borne illnesses every year than from any other critter. 750,000 last year....Deet everybody...
But yet we have a pandamic, because of a whole lot less deaths! I had a red and white, but never fished it. Do you guys do well with it?

Shouldn’t we be self quarantining if we see one or wearing a mask then?😂🤪
Have any of you guys ever heard of a thermacell? I’ve been using one for 10 years. Thai it deer hunting and it doesn’t bother the deer. I definitely use it fishing and never get bit once it warms up. I just replaced my original one 2 weeks ago. They keep mosquitoes away in a 15 foot radius. But if the wind is blowing it probably isn’t as effective. I bought mine at Walmart for $32.50 and don’t use spray.
I have probably been using a themacell for at least 10years. I, like you, use it deer hunting, fishing and when I've bear hunted. Bear hunting it really proved itself. On one bear hunt the ground lit up with mosquitoes in a ground blind. I settled in and fired up the themacell and less than ten minutes later no mosquitoes. When I told the guide he went out and bought two the the next day. Wouldn't hunt without one.
Thermacell is fine in a stand or blind, but not worth a flip if you’re out walking. A Shannon’s bug suit and a thermacell too. I use a thermacell on the front porch sometimes too. Skeeters eating you up, just ruins it. Don’t it?
