Beginner, doing everything right it think ? but Skinkin up the place H E L P !!!!
Probably to much line on the reel causing birds nests. Happened to me last week. I bought new line and over filled the spool. Not so much line on it now and it casts better. Also be sure that when turning the first few cranks of the handle after the cast that the line is tight and going on the reel smoothly. A loose wind can leave a loop that can be caught on the next cast thus pulling line out where that loop is.
Stick with it. I've been fishing for over 65 years and I still have occasional problems.
You are so right for the past 2 months I was pressing so much I was arrrrgh I can fish! and nothing so this morning I went to this fishing hole with no expectations and for two hours I was having the time of my life. Everything started to come in to place. I still haven’t caught anything but now I no can it’s a matter of time.
Tell us more about your rig. Type and weight of line? You said you’re using a spinning reel. What rod are you using? Maybe post a picture.

Hey bro. Try a jig hook with a live worm thread it up the jig hook like the plastic jig was placed on it. Put a bobber 2 ft from jig. No more snags. Bass love a fresh crawler !!! Enjoy!

How about your line?
The Kast King Perigee 2 comes in both spinning and casting rod configuration. Any chance you have a casting rod mated with a spinning reel?
Yes your right I bought the perigee2 spinning set up M/MH matched with the Sharky3 3000. It seemed to be a great deal with the two tips. Through my ignorance I took the drag cap off and trying to check it out we are men arrrrrh well I lost one maybe two drag washers there’s know no one here in Modesto that fixes reels so what I was thinking drive to Stockton and get fix there or send it to Kast King?
That’s too bad about the discs. I’m pretty sure you can order the parts online and then follow the instructions in the video. More of that “man” thing.
I didn’t know there’s a video can you tell me a little more about it?
Type this into your browser to see several videos.
