What kinda fish is this. What kinda lures should you use to catch one. What kinda bait. What areas of the water do they like. Any good flys to try. Unscramble this and hopefully your lure has some. ATNCOI

Looks to me like a brook trout, lots of fun for fly fisher people, but have caught them on small Mepps spinners. On a good day you can have plenty of ACTION 😉

That would be a beautiful brook trout which are found in pure, cold water, usually found near the head of the stream and usually caught on size 20 tricos. They will give you plenty of ACTION.

Brooke trout, caught them in SW PA on single eggs, night crawlers, wax worms, lures and spawn sacks, good fighting fish!

Looks like a cutthroat to me with the color of the spots on it's side. Catch a few in Colorado up in the mountains, it varies what to use but kastmasters and rooster tails and small rapala's work well for me.

Sorry, Gordon ! WVa. Mike posted the photo, so I'm guessing it's from W. Va. or possibly Penn. !
But that IS definitely a brookie,
and a beauty at that ! Nice goin',
Mike !

Not too much, but I have heard them mentioned on a few trout-fishing tutorials on YouTube,
along with those little PowerBait
marshmallows !
