I received an invitation to fish an arm of lake of the Ozarks (Gravois) which is about an hour (land or boat travel) from my house.
The lake rose to full pool (660) the last few days and I know there is a lot of shallow cover in that area, so I decided to take him up on it.
We caught fish basically everywhere we went. Multi species: Black bass, spotted Bass, Walleye and white Bass. Cannot name a specific lure but the following worked well:
Frog - 1.5 crank bait in Shad pattern - mag trick worm in June bug red - big bite bait black neon tube and and sexy Shad rattle trap.
Fished wind blown banks just inside of main lake points and shallow brush in the backs of coves.
Great day on the water.

I'm not far from you, just up here in KC,MO. Haven't done much fishing in the Ozarks (just 1 time). We're going to have to get together and fish.
Every once in a long while you get blessed with a day like that.
