Any one fishing Black Lake MI (north of Onaway). Looking for best places to fish and what to use for bait. Interested in walleye, pike, bass and pan fish. Any information will be a big help.

BIG pike and muskie in the lake also.

Nice area. I live in north of Traverse City, Mi and have fished there. Night crawlers, minnows 3" are great for bass and walleye. Chubs in the 6-20" range good for the pike and muskie that like to hide in the weed beds close to shore.

I'll be fishing on Crooked Lake just west of Black Lake at the end of September. What I saw on line doesn't mention Walleye. Does anyone know if they are in Crooked Lake?

I’m sure you could find something online regarding regulations and bag limits on the MI DNR website. There must be survey info out there.
