What kinda bird is this. It’s kinda small. Nice to watch. Wonder what it eats. Are their any in your area. I think maybe forest gump may have named it. Unscramble these out of a brush pile. PERIAPC.

I believe that is a wren, a mean, dirty wren. Those little puppies will go in a bluebird house and kill the chicks and they will also peck the eggs before they hatch. I do not like them, they are not as bad as blackbirds, but close. They are insect eaters.

We have several of them here every year. Builds their nests in everything. Cans, buckets and all sorts of places on shelves, etc. Fun to watch catching insects and building their nests. Fast little buggers.
