Thanks for the wishes . To where you are about 8 hours from now. 😊😊

I will pull another one out of the freezer for our brides. Let me know on your 4 hour mark which would be the Horn and Horn just past Stuckys.

I had readings fluctuate between 101* and 103* Monday and Tuesday. It was just stinking hot. 10* cooler today with a nice breeze. Mike

Ok so im nota big salt water guy, in fact I haven't salt water fished since I was a preteen, but I'm pretty sure that's a redfish, are they good to eat? I'm almost certain they're a good time to catch.

You betcha they’re good to eat. Sometimes you have to remove the worms after you’ve filleted them but they do taste good fried. They can be found in brackish water too. They are a hell of a good fighter too.

You could try to PM Plumbob,
the gentleman who caught that nice red, and see if he'd be interested in taking you under
his wing for a trip or two; he's a kayaker, which is how he caught
that redfish, so keep that in
mind ! You're not that far from each other (only about an hour-and-a-half), so a little collusion between you two would
definitely be doable ! Can't hurt
to ask, right ?

Dont sound like a bad idea, except the kayaking part...lol, i might have to find somewhere I van catch them from the shore, or at least on a larger vessel.

You’d love it. Especially when that redfish takes you on what we call a Cajun sleigh ride in that yak. It’s a blast when you get a big one on your line. They are good to eat. The smaller are better but you still can eat the larger if you can keep them. Just cut out the blood lines.
