Im in Adams county has anyone or is it just my lake (Lake Meade) noticed the fishing just dropped off far out of sight.. IT SEEMES THE ONLY THING IM CATCHING IS A BAD SUNBURN
Have you changed your methods to mach the season/weather?
I haven't been out in about 2 weeks it's just been too hot and I've been too busy. I was supposed to go up to the Susquehanna tomorrow but something came up and I can't make that either. Maybe I'll get a chance Sunday evening.
Probably the incessant heat. Affecting fishing in New England. It’s just not cooling off at night. I don’t own a boat which can get me out to the deep lakes.

It happens every year, bggent, the dog days of Summer. This year could be worse because of the excessive heat.

GASP!!!! ours is a manmade lake over 300A and several miles of shore line. The deepest section is a long strip before the dam about 40 ft of depth. Most of the rest of the lake averages 8 to 10 ft some coves and inlets are 5- to 3 ft deep there are plenty of docks and boat houses all around the lake in its two county spread. Gotta take the time to straighten out my depth and fish recorder and see whats where. I do know there are monsters there a friend caught several LM bass and released them over 6lbs, a flathead at 46 lb caught and released and my several 4 to 5 lb bass again C and R. Some sm bass about 3 to 4 ld C and R No reports on caught wallies . Its a private lake residents only and most all fishermen catch and release. the exception is crappies in the 3 to 4lb range and sometime a tad over. Now nothing gotta be at a deep depth

yea just short of an earlier start and of yet gotta use my downriver and troll. Another form of bait we haven't tried cause we can't seem to get or keep is sizable minnies. Had hoped to get some frogs and fish them.
I am across the state and experiencing the same fenominom. I fish Lake Aurther and Cross Creek. Both are DEEP lakes so I have changed tactics
I am going to try Aurther at night as I hear that the fishing is better
Good luck
