Mag FattyZ Underwater Comparison;
Do you know what your worm is doing underwater? See what happens when our Mag FattyZ goes head-to-head with a standard magnum size worm!
The action these Z Man elaztech baits put out is ridiculous! Such a great presentation.
LOVE THESE! I fish these with an Eagle Claw TroKar 3 or 4/0 Flipping worm...weightless! It holds the Z-man very well! I love this set up when I fish in only 6 feet of water or less. The hook is just heavy enough to SLOWLY have this bait "die" to the bottom. It's tail will stay high and that's when you give a few small jerks with your rod tip as you slowly reel it back. Keep you rod tip up (around a 10 o'clock position) and WATCH your line. If the line strengthens, then you drop your tip and set hook! If I fish deeper, then I will use a very small weight to get to the bottom faster...as in this video.This hook, Texas rigged with just a tiny part of the hook exposed will give you GREAT hook ups! DO NOT use an EWG hook. Use a round bend STRAIGHT hook coming in a 45 degree angle. You want the hook to exit out of the bait into the roof of the fish's mouth...not to exit back into the plastic itself, as with an EWG.
