WAS THINKING OF NEXT TIME WHEN I CUT MY BACKYARD GRASS (3/4 A) PILING IT UP NEAR THE BACK WITH SOME COW DUNG. SHOULD I ALSO KEEP TURNING IT OVER (NOW) . KNOW I HAVE TA DO THIS FAR AWAY FROM THE HOUSE CAUSE OF MICE

I don't think that is needed, but maybe put some cardboard down first, then put your clippings and manure on top, wet the heap, and you are done. Winter snow will pack it down to almost nothing, so keep adding.
