Just moved onto the river in the Auburn area and I know there’s steelhead in there later in the season but was what’s I there in summer? Anyone know how to fish it? Spinners? Bait? Any ideas would be helpful
Chilly welcome to the stage. I live about 20 miles from Auburn. Auburn California. Then there's Auburn Alabama. That's just two off the top of my head. Please go into your profile and add city and state in the location field. You will get a lot more responses to your posts if people know where you're at. When you do catch some of those whatevers or steelhead this fall, post some pictures.
It’s in the title of the post! Auburn, Wa.

I see that, but still, do you want to have to tell us where you're at every time you post? Suit yourself, but you're going to find that folks on here are gonna pretty much ignore you if they can't see where you're at in your user name. Hey, I tried. Tight lines.

I found this on the internet.
Forty to sixty degree water temperatures year round, ample water flow and the river's varied, meandering structure combine to make the Green River a thriving fishery for large rainbow, brown, cutthroat and cut-bow hybrid trout. The preferred method of fly-fishing the A, B and C sections of the Green is by drift boat.
Hope that it helps some.
Look back,at,the question... He’s fishing the lower green river in (WA). Short for Washington, State.
Don't pay any attention to the address, I live in Roy now. I haven't fished it in a few years, but the last time I did it was producing anything you wanted when the water conditions were right. that's the whole length of the river, not just one short area.
For Trout I like spinner and worm and for Steelhead and salmon I like Corkies.
The Green River does not open until Memorial day. The lower and upper are closed until then. It is watched closely due to the easy road access. Wait 2 weeks.
