Where did you get it? Out of a box of Cocopuffs?

A jig, with Mylar instead of bucktail. Slow bounce long the bottom to start; if unsuccessful hop and drop, then faster retrieve higher in the water column. Try tipping it with a strip of pork rind, too.

I have some of those in my salt water tackle box. I have hooked a small bait fish such as a spot or small croaker and it will attract a striper in the Chesapeake Bay, VA. I've also hooked a streamer of squid or a soft plastic grub off of it and caught speckled and grey sea trout. Took mylar off of it and placed a large mud gudgen with a strip of squid on the hook (flounder sandwich) and caught flounder. It is not my number one go to lure by no means. I usually try it when all else fails!

I never see any thing like that but what I got is one of those nonfishing catching lure nets that hang in my barn every so often I clean out the bottom of my boat and hang all those lure I bought that don't catch fish. My friends always come over to see what new in the net we all get a good laugh.

Leave it as is, and put a plastic worm, creature or frog on the back. Cast out, bounce it off bottom, as a Texas rig. Bass will take that in a heartbeat.

First of all Mylar tinsel = multidirectional flash in clear water. Learn how to fish a jig and it’s a go to lure. Saltwater, snapper, mackerel, jacks, grouper and more. Freshwater, bass, walleye, pike, crappie, depending on the size of the jig. I’ll fish this jig anyway anywhere!!

Jamie G is on the money with that jig/teaser/ use it for fluke as a teaser and you will nail fluke all day long. I caught over 40 fluke this past Sunday on a teaser juts like that with a bucktail on bottom.
