If you had $120 to buy two spinning reels, what ones would you buy and what line would you put on it? I have $120 to spend on two reels and I want to see what your opinions are.

What species of fish are you targeting?

Pflueger president would fit the budget. Maybe okuma ceymar or Diawa regal

I do have a president on one of my other rods so that’s definitely a possibility. Is it weird to have 3 of the same reel?
--
by Ajaxx013
Nope. Not at all. Just get more presidents if you like them.

Okay so if I get one other president, what else would you recommend? Since I’m still new I want to try different brands to see what I like best.

Possibly Diawa regal LT. haven’t bought one yet because Ironically I have 3 presidents.

I’ll take a look at them! Thanks man!

I would buy 2 Pflueger President reels and mount them on St.Croix rods. Them I would fish happily from now on.

Agree on the Pflueger President. I really like mine.
I'm a tackle junky and I have a little of every brand out there... My favorite spinning is my Tatula LT's... however, the most solid reel I own in your budget range is the Penn fierce II... the president is a decent reel for the price they're smooth when new but if you fish them hard you'll feel the sloppiness pretty quick... your not gonna beat the all out toughness of a Fierce II for $60.00...
