My work partner of 25 years retired two weeks ago. So I took him fishing. We caught 32 whiting keepers, 3 stingrays, a guitar fish and a baby Sea Robin. Every thing released hookless and unharmed except the whiting.

Nice bunch of whiting. My first citation was a 1lb. whiting (Kingfish). I need to make a trip down there😁

Good question. There's no size or quantity limits in these parts.

I've caught them around 5# but never tried eating them. Usually leave them go or maybe cut one for strip bait for flounder. The meat dies look nice and clean though.

Good job G man, and nice of you to take your partner out for the day. Thanks for the pictures.

And Fly, the tail meat is supposed to taste like lobster. But I've never tried it.

It is one of the classic ingredients in French bouillabaise
