Hey everyone I have been in Idaho for 4yrs just now getting back to fishing any advice or tips would be appreciated thank you and God bless
Welcome Doug. We have Idahoans on here, you'll be hearing from em.
I love Idaho. Its a day drive out of these here parts I reside in. If you live in Idaho hopefully you are aware of Lava Hot Springs. Its one of our not to expensive destinations. We have been going to LAVA for 3+ decades for a good fun place to relax. There is a s--- ton of good fishing if you pursue it in your state and other surrounding locations.
Welcome to Fishingstage USA and abroad. Spirit is a really good Boss man on here and we all love him. Please post all pictures of good fishing it is very much what we all love here at Fishingstage.
Thank You for joining. We all look forward to seeing your fishing adventures.
Welcome Doug to the stage
Glad to have you aboard!!
Delaware's a ling way from Idaho. About the only thing I know about your state is potatoes, but I love the Stage and I'm sure you will too.
Appreciate the warm welcome I will check it out lava hot springs will post if anything's caught , tight lines and keep on fishing.
Yes it is keep on fishing bro
Thanks for the welcome keep on catching
There are several lakes outside of Boise that were good fishing when I was living there...Arrow Rock and Lucky Peak both were good fishing from the bank and boat if you have one, used to catch really nice trout from both. If you are interested in perch fishing a really good place used to be McCall. For Cat Fish you have the Snake River and Brownlee Reservoir If you want crappie try Anderson Ranch Reservoir or CJ Strike Reservoir over around the Mt Home area. Good luck with your fishing hope some of them pan out for you.
Welcome Doug. I'm on the other side of the state. Mostly trout fishing over here. I too love Lava Hot Springs and fish Chesterfield Reservoir near there. Lava has a huge swimming pool, that would be great fun for kids. But us older people love the Hot Springs. Only $5.00 or so to get in for the whole day. You can come and go with a wrist band. The town gets crowded with people that float the river with tubes. They have rooms you can get with more private hot tubs. And I'm told the pool that comes with the rooms, is clothing optional after dark. Great place!

Clearwater River and Dvorshak reservoir offer some great fishing. Might give them a try.
