I recently purchased a 12ft Native Manta Ray from Craigslist for $250. It has a capacity of 325 lbs and when new is around $1000.

I am 6"3 and weigh 280 pounds and I have a shadow caster from field and stream. The weight capacity is 450 pounds and I absolutely love it. It's extremely sturdy with a 35 inch width so even I am able to stand up and fish in it if I want. I am also able to load it down with lots of tackle, 6 rods even a trolling motor and battery if I decide I want to just troll instead of paddle. The best part is that I didn't pay $1000 dollars. My kayak cost me $850 after taxes. Not sure if it's something you want to look into but I just thought I would share my opinion. I can even send a picture of what my kayak looks like all are up so you can see how much you can put on it ( minus my 280 pound body )

Look at the 11.5 Foot - BKC RA 220. I LOVE MINE. Lots of Storage area below Deck and below Sitting and Standing Areas. The 2019 models Hull have a spot for a Bottom Viewing Window that l didn' like. I sold that one and bought the new 2020 model. They discontinued the 2019 model and the new 2020 model Hull has a Normal uninterrupted and smooth bottom. I really like the extra below deck Storage Access Box in front of the seat in the RA 220. You can easily slip a 5 to 6 foot Sturgeon through there and push it up into the Bow area and up to the Bows Access Hatch. This avoids having fish on Deck or around your feet. Check it out. If you want to see one up close, come to Portland and see mine. For Appointment contact me at baldwinbcurtis@gmail. With BKC RA220 in subject area.

Look at the BKC RA 220. Great Storage areas. I like the Access Box in front of the seat to slide in Keeper Sturgeons below Deck and shove them up towards the Bow access Hatch and not have to have them above Deck or around my feet or legs.
