Every single time I cast my BC rod I get a nest in my line. It’s insane, how do you people use these things?!!

Just gotta get the break set right for the weight you're using. The lighter the line the easier the cast for me. I use 20 pound braid with a 2 ounce egg weight on a 10'6" Berkeley rod and cast, easily, 50 yards. With my bass rig I use a 7' medium heavy ugly stik with an Abu black master, 10 pound braid with a 3 foot, 8 pound mono leader, 3/4 ounce egg weight and cast about as far. Never a bird's nest with the break set right. I just let the weight fall to the ground and see that the spook stops when the weight hits the ground. You'll get it👍
