The closest place would be Cherry creek state park. the state record was caught there a few years ago. And there is always Pueblo Res against the cliffs.

Thank You.....I've always used cut mackeral for bait when I fished the Colorado river canals in California and the Nuuanu resevoir in Honolulu with success. Is there a secret bait used here?

Lotta folks on here are partial to chicken livers. I've always had good luck with cut mackerel. Oily, bloody and stays on the hook. Good stuff.
