Mike, that ugly thing is a possum. We never use to have any when I was a kid but then as the climate warmed, they came north. Sometimes up here, you will see them with their tails froze off. They are ugly but they do eat tons of ticks and are a good thing to have around. Troy, if you want to get rid of them, they are easy to live trap if you use marshmallows for bait. Marshmallows work well for live trapping coon too.

No I don’t want to get rid of them but we set rabbit boxes out and if one goes in the rabbit will not go in you have to wash it out
