Hi guys can someone perhaps explain something regarding ball bearings please.

I bought the shorecast 25a Daiwa reel. Online everywhere it says 3 ball bearing and yet on the packaging it has an image of a BB and says 1. On the parts list inside the box it also tells me there’s one. If someone could give me some insight it’d be greatly appreciated.

Our beloved bb ( badbobby ) is now referred to as a ball bearing. I guess he is on a roll.

Can't really say why it's advertised with 3 BBs but only has 1. However, I see that a lot of them advertised online are for Europe. Don't know where you are but could it be that the European version is different from the one that you bought? Check with the manufacturer. If that doesn't help, contact the seller, explain what's happeneing and tell them you want to return the reel for a full refund. Or, I suppose, you could sue them for false advertising. That should go to court in less than 5 years and you'll probably get your $100 back, minus attorney's fees, of course.

Probably using the common name for them instead of saying one Ball Bearing and two Roller bearings for a total of 3 bearings.
