Which plastic is better: Yum Dingers or Yamamoto Senkos?

Better, probably Yamamoto But honestly I dont think the fish really care about one or the other, plus, Yamamotoe are very soft and for 8$ a pack they break very easily while yums are 2$ and you dont have to worry about loosing so much money when they break

The Senkos are head and shoulders above Yum imo. The Dingers are the obvious choice when on a budget. But for me personally, I am fortunately not on a strict budget so it's Senkos. I think it's worth noting the Strike King Ochos are an excellent stick bait, so those are a good Senko alternative if you're not really on a budget but don't want to pay $7.

Dingers sink slower, giving more time for fish to hit on the drop. Plus 1/4 the price of senkos.

I fish senkos, when you need the action on a wacky rig, you don't wanna go with cheap plastic.

Live Night Crawler or part of one will always help catch fish in my opinion. There is no artificial worms or bugs reproducing and causing feeding frenzies but natural real critters do. I add real worm to a tube bait so when fish gets close there is real natural food flavor available....not the smell of a new tire shop or Walmart.

I like Yum Dingers and Strike King Ochos! And you can get them in a very large variety of colors and find them almost anywhere!

From what I've read on this forum regarding rods and reels, the more expensive the better. So it must also apply to lures, baits and everything else. The more you spend, the more and bigger fish you'll catch.

No finesse and always trying something different if nothing is working some of my best lures i repainted myself or painted blanks new lures are too expensive

Speaking of expensive lures, here's a trick I use:
When your Texas rigged Senko, or similar soft plastic bait gets torn up at the hook end, turn it around and rig it from the other end. Once both ends are chewed up, rig it wacky style. After that, if there's anything left, use the remainder for a Ned rig. One pack could last you the whole season. 😉
