this little bugger had a appetite, Is this the elusive lol Warmouth? Mouth is big, not a green sunfish, oblong , not oval but other identifying features makes me think warmouth,,,, any "informed" opinions??
We have millions of them in every stream creek river and lake in Alabama. We catch them by the hundreds. Really good sweet eating. It is definitely a BLUEGILL
We have those in the Baron Fork & illinois river here which means they are in the Arkansas river system. We call them "warmouth" or "goggleye". Really good eating. I know some people that call them rock bass because they like staying around larger rocks. Good luck & tight lines
