Non taken Leejay. I agree with all the arguments associated with braid. My thing is, I fail to see the need. Spool up 50 to 80# braid and fish for a 15# bass,not necessary. Now for those toothy critters in salt water oh yeah in a heartbeat. There have been too many large fish caught on 6-12# mono. I do see your point and agree. I grew up with it and it’s been good to me and I’m stubborn.
Our state record bass was landed with 10# XT best I remember using a rattling rogue. 18.4 big in.

Braid line floats too so NO tight lines
