We are hearing that you could get a hefty ticket in California in your boat if you don’t all have the same address up to 1000$ Has any one heard of that. It has been 5 weeks since we have been out I need my mental health time!

Not true in the far Northern California area, maybe someone started that rumor to have the water all to themselves!!!

Check with Your local Dept of Fish & Game. I do ocean shore fishing in Ventura & was told where I fish ( off the rocks-no beach) was okay. go with a friend.

ALSO- I was out a month ago,had no trouble off the rocks in Ventura; Coast Guard actually flew by while we were fishing.

Hey Lumpy, where are you located? Could you put it in your profile? Thanks. Hope that isn't true. However, all the lakes round me are closed to ALL fishin.

where in ventura are the rocks? I have fished on and around the pier before but dont know any other spots in ventura, and I too need to get out there for my mental sanity

San Diego county has issued several $1000 tickets for violations of the Covid orders. Don't know if any of those are for boaters, but all of our launch ramps are closed, so we can't even get out there.

Man, it's a good thing I don't fly, any more, I'd be chomping at the bit to fly into Pillsbury. Loved that place. Eagle Lake in Lassen county, too.

A friend of ours has a cabin up at Lake Pillsbury and he said it was closed to fishin also.

My two buddies went to Shasta Lake Sunday and caught over 150 bass and trout. Sid it didn't really matter what you slung they went after it.
