N.J. STRIPPER FISHING COVID RESTRICTIONS ON PRIVATE CHARTER BOAT?????

Loc: new Jersey-sandy hook, raritan bay
You are right, the boat ramps have been packed for people to launch their own personal crafts but they will not let any of the charter boats or party boats go out with a group. And the part that hurts the most is that the striped bass fishing has been fantastic from schoolie 24-inch fish to 40 Pounders spawning through the Raritan Bay and up into the Hudson River
I heard no party boats & no elbow to elbow on the streams
I have to wait until at least next Saturday before I can go stand elbow to elbow where I like to fish.
Charles, can I go in your place if you’re not going? I havent been on a stripper boat trip in a good number of years. Last one I recall was terrific. Now that I’m old, I only go striper fishing whenever my motor gets wound up.
Charles: Stripers are being caught from shore in the western end of Raritan Bay. Clams or bloodworms, fish finder rig and #6/0 circle hooks. Remember circle hooks are now mandatory when targeting stripers in NJ.
