Yes, I've mostly have used them Bayside with good success. I was planning on trying them on the surf. Plus a Whopper Plopper and a Livingston Walking Boss II.

Hey Jeff. We usually throw swim baits, buck tail jigs with a curly tail and lipless crank baits. We're fishin for stripers though in the Petaluma and Napa rivers which is very tidal but not as salt as the ocean. I also throw those from the beach sometimes as well. Where do you usually fish?

I should of mentioned, one thing. The part of the bay that I use the spinnerbaits in averages 1 to 3 feet deep and loaded with grass. Plus it's the part of the bay that meets the St. Martins River. So these factors have allot to do with why I use them especially in the spring.

I’m less than a mile from the beach. Waiting for stripers to shop. Yes bucktail jigs with a curly tail, 2-3oz. Kastmasters.

That sounds good Jeff. Maybe try some smaller stuff too in the 3/4 to 1 oz. size. Good luck and let us know how you do. Pics please.

Yes, they are good slow rolled for flounder and large single spinners with grubs on are good for reds.
