Mostly it's because the party boaters are young and not considerate of others where as the fishers are normally older or young but raised right. Mike

I don't know about that, I've run into inconsiderates in all age brackets. Even older than myself.

I was done fishing one day and pulled up to the double ramp. On one side is a pontoon trying to drive onto his trailer at a 45 degree angle (cross wind). On the other side is a Mercedes sub trying to back a jetski into the lake. Jacknife...pull up...jacknife pull up...jacknife pull up...jacknife pull up... All the while never turning the steering wheel!!!! I'm screaming TURN THE FU**ING WHEEL!!! After about 20 minutes of watching this circus, I shut my motor off . I grabbed a spinning rod and threw a drop shot over the side. 2 calico bass (crappie) later, approx 30 minutes, the pontoon got it on the trailer and I pulled mine out. The Yuppie with the jetski was still going at it.

The species of 'dolphin' he's referring to (for those who
don't know) is not the mammal, but a fish; it is also known as a
Dolphinfish, Dorado, or Mahi.
Mahi ! For visual identification, check out the little sweetie who
is holding up that trophy-sized specimen !

Most people are. Some of them own boats. You expect people who can't get out of a parking lot after a football game without someone directing traffic to be able to negotiate launching a couple of boats on a ramp?

Good point there Spirit, most of them can't deal with a 4 way stop sign.
Give em a traffic circle and see what they do.
