My wife and I went on a mini vacation 2 Artesian Lakes. Cleveland Texas. Staying in a cabin in a Chain of Lakes. Abundant fish absolutely everywhere! Here is yall's pictures. If you live in Texas? You must visit this paradise! It was so awesome! 155 + night can rent a boat. About 15 Lakes in an area that is 5000 Acres. The fish and Wildlife are abundant. I recommend 7 stars out of 5!

Thank You for Sharing. Momma looks happy. So does the Racoon. You definitely with the fish caught. Sure looks like a blast. Raccoons are better than porcupines for sure :)

Looks like a purse or some boots could of been made by the looks of what was lurking in the water :)

It looks like a good time for all, even the little cooney. How come you didn't weigh the gator? Thanks for sharing, Jon.

Someone? Left a window down in my SUV. The Minnow Bucket was in my hatch area. The raccoons got in in and made a huge bloody mess of the inside of my truck. Lots of cleaning to do. Had to go back to the bait store Andre up. Live and learn!

Live and learn indeed. Did not know that there's gators in Texas. Why am I surprised? It's right by Loosiana.
Looks like a great time. Thanks for the photos.

JonMaly: Your post reminded me of once when I was still working, i got on the elevator to go home. On board was another broker with a gorgeous pair of alligator boots. I commented how much I like them.. He said, "Yes, he had decided he would like to have some, couldn't afford to buy a ready made pair, so he goes with a friend over in Louisiana, kills and skinned out a gator, and had a pair made right here in Houston. Not a bad idea! Just Sayin...RJS
