What is this ugly fish caught in so fl intercoastal
We call it lizard fish in Hawaii. A very aggressive fish. It will attack a lure bigger than itself. Caught one last week that was about a foot long. Scary teeth and very ugly. Only its mother could love it! Lol.
How could you be so cruel as to refer to it as ugly? Now us citizens are going to have to pay a small fortune for it's psychiatric treatment.
In Jersey we called it a oyster cracker
Thanks all. Sure is ugly and in that don’t wanna catch category along with blowfish and catfish.
just my two cents, blowfish and catfish are delicious, with or without hushpuppies. blowfish being a little bit easier to clean but just thinking about them makes me wish it was a little warmer up here in Long Island.
You wouldn’t want to eat the catfish and puffers from the intercoastal in so florida.
Air temp average 80* right now and water temp is low 80*’s. Doesn’t suck.
All ocean going creatures that are mentally or physically injured/handicapped have 100% health coverage!! Bigger predators just eat them up alive! No fuss no muss huh?
A Toad Fish! Don'tlet him bite you!
This fish's jaws are so big he could swallow himself.
I agree with Fishrmans, it's a Toadfish:
Mother in Law fish, local nickname for toadfish creature thing.
