VT. is also closing if you are from out of state you can visit and leave the same day but anything longer you are stuck for 14 days.

How does that work? You have to sit in your car at the border for 14 days then they let you through? Do you have to show some kind of documentation you’ve self quarantined for 14 days? Sounds hard to prove.

So you can bring the virus in, spread it around for one day but not any longer? Does anyone see anything strange about all these rules? Every state has different rules. Our borders are not closed. Idaho has a no travel order in place but if you live in a different state you can travel around here all you want. Our grocery stores and gas stations are open so anyone from any other state can come through and visit all of the grocery stores and gas stations with convenience stores and leave behind any virus they’re carrying but if you live here the only place you can go is where all those people have been. Can’t go for a walk in the forest or go to the river fishing but, by all means, your welcome to go to the grocery store where every sick person within a 1000 miles is allowed to go handle everything on the shelf and sneeze and cough all over everything. I think there’s a fox in the hen house.

All parks in NC are closed ,and forget fishing or being outside here ,eveything is closed ,you cant get to the water ,all ramps are closed and private fish camps and lodging are closed .So you better stock your bathtub.Or practice casting in your back yard .

Are your borders closed as well? I can see highway 95 here in Idaho from a spot on our property. For a week I could count, maybe, one care every 15 minutes or so. Since the no travel ban there’s been a steady flow of traffic down there. I can see it with binoculars but not well enough to see license plates but my friend that owns the tackle shop, which is still open, said there’s been an influx of people from Washington and Oregon coming through for the past week. Our state park and all state facility boat ramps are closed but not BLM facility access points and we have several of those. State parks are closed to camping but open for fishing and we have a “stay in your residence” order effective April 2nd. Very confusing and the cops aren’t doing anything about it. They’re supposed to stop locals and get confirmation as to why we’re out but out of state folks can travel around and through as much as they want. I don’t get it at all. 🤷‍♂️

Why it only applies to some and not others and why nothing is being done about it. I’m DOING my part. Just wondering why nobody cares who is or isn’t doing it. We have people coming here to escape their, highly affected, areas and we just let them keep coming. Fortunately we don’t have thousands of cases, yet, but what’s the reasoning behind not doing anything about it. I’m watching people from two miles away, on my own property with binoculars. If I go out I don’t go within 1/4 mile of anyone. My work has been cut off, I have zero income and things are piling up. We have plenty of food and water but no income and not seeing where I’m going to. At $300.00/day times 16 days I’ve lost quite a bit so far and I can’t get it back. What’s your solution for that? Just suck it up and lose everything or do like everyone else and go to work anyway. The stimulus check won’t help a thing and it’s not even in the mail yet. Conflicting stories about it as well. First comment, a month ago, was we’d see it in three weeks. Last night I heard it could take up to a year. 🤷‍♂️. Nobody knows what’s true and what’s not or what to do or not to do. Any advice?
