I wanted to pause and give thanks for the Fishing Stage Forum. I have already met and talked to so many fine people on the FS but today was something special. I received a private message from a new subscriber who lives just a few miles from me and who loves to fish just as much as I do. We are both retired ministers - he served on the west coast and recently moved across our country to the Raleigh, NC area. I have lived and served churches on the east coast and fished here for many years. We managed to catch up with each other and ended up talking on the phone for nearly three hours this morning. To me this is what makes our Forum such a valuable and marvelous community. I have made a new friend and fishing buddy that never would have happened without this fellowship! I know I’m going to learn so much from the friends I am making each week. It truly does enrich my life and I can read about some very interesting , funny, wise, experienced human beings who happen to be fisherman. Today made me appreciate our fellowship in a profound way and I just wanted to thank you all for making this possible. Stay safe and well brothers and sisters!!!
