Bass up here are smaller. I heard the action on the smaller ones (90s)isnt as effective. Are they worth the hype?

I live in NY and I bought one to try this year. I figured it might be worth a shot

I have had awesome luck with the 75, and my PB was caught on a 90. I’m in MN so I think we have northern strain largemouth like you, and they love them here!

I live in WV and the bass aren’t giant here, but I do really well on ploppers. Caught a few smallies in the 2-3 lb range and same with largemouth. You have them up there. I watch a guy on YouTube in Maine that catches many over four pounds.

I spend money on them and throw the 90s some. Pretty poor results to show for it, and I'm no stranger to catching bass. NH, FWIW

Some success w ploppers.troule is they’ve closed my strip mine pits here in cent4al I’ll. Can’t even go fishing, coved 19 really sucks.
The plopper works really well at night in our area. The black in the 90’s works especially well late late around the 1am time. Any fish attractant really helps.
