As an update on what I found when I went fishing yesterday at Eastman Reservoir in Madera County, CA., the ramps were open and there were about a dozen boats on the lake and about a dozen people fishing from shore. Not all of them were social distancing but I assume those that weren't were family members already living together. I went with my regular fishing partner and although we were for the most part 6 feet away from each other in the boat, we did ride in the cab of his truck together to get there. That wasn't six feet. I would suspect that the shore fishermen rode together too so whatever that means. I typically spend 16 hours a week fishing with the guy I fish with so aside from my wife, he's right there in second place in terms of hours spent together. That doesn't fit with the protocol but it rationalizes it in my mind.
The fishing was pretty good, decent numbers but no real large fish. The day was cold, rain threatened, and afternoon wind picked up making it a bit colder. My biggest fish yesterday was either a spawned out 2 lber or one suffering from not passing plastic. It was long and thin. I'm posting that picture. I look pretty grumpy in it but nothing farther from the truth. Just my ugly mug. Happy joyous and free most all the time. Stay well and safe.
Nice one an if you an your fishin buddy spend that much time together I see no problem with it at all. Its does a person good to get out in the fresh air an do some fishing. Stay safe and tight lines

Nice fish, John, I don't think you look grumpy at all, I think you have a confidence look on you face, ah, a good day look, I caught some fish.
