See if you can find some pre-tied sturgeon leaders. They are often 80-110 lbs, and made of dacron (I believe). This helps in the not too unlikely event that the fish "wraps" itself around the leader, which can otherwise be cut or damaged by the sharp scales that run along both sides of the fish (scutes, if I rememer the terminology right).
I use 80 to 100 pound XP braid and make my leaders out of the same braid. IE, 100 pound main line, 80 pound leader. Or 80 pound main line, 60 pound leader etc... I stopped having issues with breakage from twisting sturgeon. I just tie an egg loop on my hooks and leave about 2 feet of line for the leader. Plus you have the line and leader with you all the time. Takes 2 seconds to tie an egg loop and it’s 1/3 the cost of buying pre-tied hook and leader set ups. Also I use Gamagatsu hooks you can’t find pre-tied. The gap is wider, the hooks are way sharper and stay sharp.
