We are turning this 🌎 planet as well as the humans living in it into a non livable existence! Between the waters being polluted damaging & killing the marine life (can't eat the fish in some areas)and if you can you have to limit your intake due to the crap they get away with dumping in the waters. If they keep polluting The waters there will be no fish to catch I don't even want to think about that! The air is also polluted, now we have this virus that's going around killing people.
Pretty soon we will all be walking around with oxygen masks once you step outside of your home if you want to stay alive! It is sad how it not enough people give a SH#t to put a stop to this corruption once and for all!

Good rant

The world will continue as it always has...

Would be nice if it were a bit cleaner...

People would need to make changes...

We're a pretty lazy bunch....

In my junior and senior high school years, my school began
an awareness campaign to get local businesses, politicians
and anyone else with power
or influence to begin cleaning
up their act and stop the very serious pollution problem that
was the Merrimack River ! Back then, it was on the top-ten list of the worst polluted rivers in the country; all the mills, shoe manufacturers and foundries along the river dumped their
dyes, chemicals, and other
refuse into the river ! The cities
along the river dumped all their storm drainage and untreated
waste water into it as well ! It seldom froze in the winter, and crossing any bridge over it on a hot summer day left you with a fetid stench in your nostrils and rotten taste in your mouth ! It
was absolutely and totally disgusting ! Our initiative in starting and pushing this
clean-up campaign soon got enough momentum that it was picked up by the state politicians as well and more businesses
joined in the campaign to clean
up our river ! It took some time and effort by all, but in just ten years' time that river had been cleaned up to the point where
it could support healthy
populations of trout; a few
years more and the state
Fish & Game Dept. started a salmon stocking program in an effort to bring Atlantic salmon
back into the area, even going
so far as to build fish ladders
at all the major dams on the
river ! Our programs caught on
in Massachesetts as well, and they followed suit in both the clean-up and building the fish
ladders to aid the salmon in
their upstream journey ! You never know what you can accomplish until you get people to unite and work together toward a specific goal ! And to think, all this was started by just a dedicated group of high school kids !

Very good, Big A. You made a statement during your oration, "You never know what you can accomplish until you get the people to UNITE and work together toward a specific goal." That, my good man, is the answer to so many of our worldly and national problems. We must UNITE and work together in order to make the world a better place for all. You know it is a little frightening when we look at our political leaders and then look at the country that we live in, the UNITED States.

This will probably end up in the attic, but I feel better.

Although getting people of
our city, surrounding cities and other nearby communities to
unite in getting our river
cleaned up was tantamount to
the success of our cause, the point here was that just a group
of young, dedicated high schoolers were the shakers and movers who woke these communities up out of their common apathy to get all this accomplished ! Were it not for their efforts to unite and
motivate all these other groups, who knows how long or how
badly our river would have remained polluted ?

If more people cared instead of just thinking people like us are just ranting and raving and they started helping to correct the problem like you and your school did we would get it done!Good JOB!👍
