We were Fishing Flaming Gorge 97 feet of water. Just using tube jigs no bait. Flat on the bottom. Saw a few more fish but they weren't interested.

Hey OZ you posted it b4 but what form of garlic do you use to get the scent into the rubber tubes? I have garlic olive oil but curious what you do if it works so good for you. What species of fish has it worked the most for you?

Try to get the minced garlic at the dollar store. I put all of my plastics in a couple containers and keep them in the fridge. Need to refresh them soon.

Get a clove at the grocery store, they aslo have minced. Try a few in a medicine bottle to decide for yourself before you do all of them.

I love watching folks load their boats! Helped a fellah recently that could not get his boat out of the water. I suggested he should perhaps raise the lower unit!! He was slightly embarrassed, however his wife thought it was hilarious.

Nice Laker Egg.......don't get to Wy very often, but do get lakers in Canada shortly after ice out when they are up near the surface. Just wondering if that's the case with this one caught a week or two after your ice out??? And, we usually are using Rapalas, Bombers, Storm, and some spoons. What's your favorite.

Well this part of the lake didn't freeze there's still a few crawling the bottom, those are the ones I target with 1oz 7" tube jigs. Various colors.i don't really like trolling, unless I can't find fish on bottom. But might have to give it a try.

Ya, we've caught 'em jigging also. But most of us get bored if there's no action, and start casting and trolling. Then we are likely to get more action and pick up Walleye and Northern along with an occasional Trout.
