Whenever I tie on new line other than braid it’s twirly and harder to cast and tie how do I get the line to straight out and stay straight?

Use more tension when you’re spooling the reel. Use a towel or rag, wrap the line around your thumb and rag, apply pressure as you reel in. It’ll keep the tension and lessen the curls in the line. I would also recommend staying away from cheap line, it has too much memory and is difficult to work with.

I experienced the same thing when I went full fluoro, which is why present day I use braid for my main line and fluoro leaders when I need fluoro qualities. Works really well for me!

Idiot-proof solution. Spool it onto your reel in either direction. Next time you go fishing, while going slow, let enough of the line fall into the water to "grab" it and empty the spool. Reel it back in and you will love the results.
