I saw the record bass that was caught in Texas! Congrats.

Here’s my question: is there a procedure one must follow if you think you’ve got a record fish? What would everyone do?

Welcome to the Forum, Johnvilla. Well,,,,,,,,, I suppose it would depend if you were going to keep it or not. If I were going to release it, I would measure the length and girth with a witness and if possible have it weighed on a certified scale. Also with a witness. If I was going to keep it I would contact my local CO and let him guide you through the process. (MHO)
