I second the ozone treatment, you may be able to rent one of these. Had a friend that has a used car place- bums slept in a car way out back and stunk it to hi hell. The ozone machine fixed it in about 24 hrs.

Guess you'll have to open all the windows. In time maybe the smell will go away. One time my Mother left something in her car trunk (don't remember what it was). Seems like I cleaned it with various things and left baking soda inside trunk - I think that helped.

It surprisingly worked.

I purchased my wife a slightly used car that was perfect in every way except for the smoke smell in the interior. I tried an odor bomb from a major manufacturer and one from a company that specializes in them. Within a day or so the smoke smell was back. I tried this odor eliminator and left it in the car in the garage over night and it worked and has been odor free for over a week now. We were sure that we followed all the directions and opened everything. I also changed the cabin air filter at the same time. It did not work for me

Just bought a mini van and the previous owner was a smoker, tried to use other air fragrance .but nothing worked just masked it so I found this on the Internet and it sounded like it will cure my problem , well it didn't . It helped some but I still have a smoke smell. The guaranty is a lot of crab too . You need to claim that in 30 days to be refunded but I didn't use the product right away ,I guess that is my bad anyway it still did not work for me

Works better than advertised!

I used this product to get heavy smoke out of a 2013 Tundra double cab. The dealer sposedly used a "bomb" product twice and it helped some but also left a chlorine smell in the truck. Auto Shocker completely removed all the smells, smoke and chlorine! I followed the instructions and let it sit for 24+ hours. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT! I even told the dealership they need to switch. They said they would try it.

Always works, time after time.

I've been a long-time user of Biocide Systems room shockers, as my dogs would frequently encounter, and try to love on, skunks. They are literally the only thing I could find that would eliminate the skunk odor overnight, including from furniture. Of course, you'll still have to wash your hard surfaces and do your laundry, but it kills that odor residue.

Cigarette smell removal from car

I used this product in an effort to remove the cigarette smoke smell from a newly purchased used car. I let it sit in the car for a full 24 hours, running the A/C on the recirculate cycle for 15 minutes to ensure that it went through the vents. So far so good, the smoke smell is gone.

That happened to us years ago. My wife had gotten two bags of shrimp from the game wardens back when she worked for a judge. She left them in the van in a blow up kids pool, not realizing the shrimp have horns and would poke holes. I came home from work the next morning and I couldn’t hardly see the van for millions of flies. When I opened the door, well you know. I tried every thing you did. Nothing worked. One of the problems is the shrimp juice is in the rubber matting under the carpet. I had to take everything out, including the seats, then take the carpet out. I took the carpet to a car wash and hosed it down with soap and disinfectant, three times. As far as the matting went, I had to replace that. Probably just from smelling it before, but every time we went in it after that, it seemed like I could still faintly smell it. Wasn’t long after, we got rid of it.

used this after purchasing a used suburban which I got an amazing deal on it. Only catch was it stunk so bad, it literally made my garage and house smell like a dang ash tray! After cleaning the interior as best as possible and trying my best not to gag or want to burn my clothes after being inside it, I setup this unit in the window of truck, rolled it up to hold it in place and then stuffed towels in the window gap to seal. Set the timer for 120 and let it run, about half way in I turned the hvac system on to recirculate /high and continued the treatment.

After 2 hours, I removed the unit, opened all the windows and doors and let it air out for a bit. Then came the investigation, I did a smell test. Not just any smell test, I am talking making love to the seats with my face, doing scratch and snif tests, carpet, you name it. All the smell is gone!
Absolutely amazing! Single 2 hour run knocked out the worst smelling thing ever. Now smells nice and clean, no funk, no nothing, just..clean.

You need to buy one, period! Your family and friends will be borrowing it as soon as they find out your results just make sure to air out the car for a good 24 hours before the next use as the ionozor leaves its own smell behind.
